Defying Gravity

Project Description: This lyric video was made for the song Defying Gravity by the cast of Wicked. It explores the use of type, layout, and motion graphics. The video covers a large portion of the song starting from the beginning. I created a rough storyboard of how I would like the lyrics to display at certain moments in the song, and then went into AfterEffects to put the layouts in motion. I matched the text on screen to the lyrics in the song. To finish up the video, I added two color themes for each of the two singers, and then added other visual effects to evoke emotion.
