Project Description: This magazine was created to learn publication design. I wanted to make my magazine on the topic of fast fashion as it is a concern to me and the world we live in today. I looked up magazines in the fashion industry to get inspiration for my magazine. I created a brand style guide—choosing my fonts, color palette, photography, and other design elements. Then I found articles and images online to use in the magazine that truly addressed the issue of fast fashion and its effects on the planet. To keep the magazine clean and minimal, I used negative space in the spreads and added strong. After putting the spreads, I chose the name “Naïve” to complete the publication.
